The Gaziantep Governor’s Office has begun accepting applications for crossing permits through the Karkamış (Jarabulus) border crossing for Syrian students studying at universities in Türkiye who have a parent residing in Syria.
Married students may also bring their spouses and children. Those who do not reside in Gaziantep may apply with a power of attorney from a person residing in the governor’s office.
Applications must be submitted in person at the governor’s office. Required documents include a criminal complaint, student certificate, a photocopy of their ID, and translated documents proving the parent’s residence in Syria.
